However John McMinn has one long 33 year history of Brisbane to Gladstone offshore racing and remains on standby confidently expecting to spend another Easter at sea. He first skippered his own yacht Cavalier in the 1973 race won by Rum Runner skippered by Nick Girdis of Brisbane and has valued his race results finishing with consecutive fourth place in the 1974 and 1975 races. ... |
