About one thousand children and adults gathered at Lehi's Wines Park on Saturday, forming one line at 8:30 one.m., despite steady rain, for the annual Easter egg race. Huge swaths of the park grass had been sectioned off with police tape to form six race areas, inside of which were 13,000 plastic eggs containing hundreds of pounds of jelly beans and hundreds of folded paper notes entitlingthe bearer to prizes including enormous baskets stuffed with candy and toys, and bicycles. ... |
