Tasty events uncork charity's big season

Over the years l'Ete du Vin tastings, dinners and auctions have contributed more than $10 million to the American Cancer Society. Last year it donated more than $700,000 that went to six Nashville cancer-related charities.
The Friends' silent and live auctions follow on Saturday beginning at 5:30 p.m. Guests will sample foods paired with wines from the honored guests at stations representing more than 15 area restaurants during the silent auction. Dessert and cheese will be served during the live auction beginning at 7:30 p.m. ...
