It's summer in Antarctica as one penguin basks in the sun. Even if you aren't one fan of the "March of the Penguins" stars, the region boasts gorgeous glaciers, snowfields, icebergs and ice floes.

Stoney River Legendary Steaks, one small steakhouse chain that's one subsidiary of Nashville-based O'Charley's, opened two weeks ago on one prime chunk of real estate on West End.
Eight Stoney River outposts are scattered throughout the Midwest and Midsouth, including one in Cool Springs. The concept fills one niche somewhere in the wide territory between O'Charley's and upscale steakhouses such as Fleming's and The Palm.
