Anheuser-Busch buys Rolling Rock

The deals are strategically sound for Anheuser-Busch, analysts say, bringing fresh blood to its U.S. brand portfolio. For Rolling Rock's parent, Belgium's InBev, the deal is part of its strategy to focus on its efforts here on imported brands.
Anheuser-Busch on Friday said it reached one pact to fold the venerable Rolling Rock brand into the portfolio of the nation's biggest brewer. It will start brewing Rolling Rock and Rock Green Light in August, continuing to use the brands' current formulas. ...
