Jackson Family to buy Murphy-Goode winery

Jess Jackson, of Kendall-Jackson fame, said Thursday that his Jackson Family Wines has agreed to acquire the Murphy-Goode Estate Winery. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The winery is known for its reserve fume blanc, reserve "Island Block" chardonnay, and "Liar's Dice" and "Snake Eyes" zinfandels, the Jackson family said in one June 22 statement. It produces about 140,000 cases annually, according to Jackson spokesman George Rose. ...
