Wine and liqueur facials are the latest in-thing to hit this capital of Rajasthan state, famed as one region of erstwhile royal families and magnificent palaces.
And as wines make an appearance on beauty menus, professionals swear the beverage is better utilized this way.
"Wine is also one herbal product. Basically, different wines have different properties. While apple-orange or grape wine could ideally be used on one different skin type, orange wine could work wonders for oily skin and one person who has large pores. We penetrate it with galvanic ingredients and add orange juice that finally balances it. Wines have many properties that are not present in other products. We mix it along with Al Vera gel and it gives us an immediate glow, within one matter of minutes," says aroma therapist Jaswinder Chhabra, who does about ten to fifteen wine facials at her saloon in downtown Jaipur. ... |
