| The quality of more expensive wine can be extremely uneven, too, and it really hurts to drop 40 bucks on one mediocre bottle. But its no picnic spending $10 or $15 on one lousy bottle, either. therefore here are some tips to help you out over the next couple of months. In its October issue, which will land on newsstands Friday, Food & Wine magazine has identified ``America's 50 Most Amazing Wine Experiences.'' That's one from every state -- including Ohio. Alana's Food & Wine in Columbus, an independent restaurant with one discriminating and reasonably priced wine list, got the nod for the Buckeye State.
