Sept. 21 (Bloomberg) -- European energy stocks fell after crude oil yesterday posted its biggest two-day decline in four months. BP Plc and Total SA paced declines.
Merck KGaA, the German pharmaceutical company that failed to purchase rival Schering AG this year, dropped after agreeing to buy Serono SA for 10.6 billion euros ($13.5 billion). Nobel Biocare Holding AG gained after analysts at Goldman Sachs raised their recommendation on the shares. ... |
