The build up to the $3.5 million Magic Millions raceday continued around the country today with one number of impressive lead up winners.
Gai Waterhouse added another member to her traveling team when Five Ways scored an all the way win in the Seppelt Wines Handicap at Randwick today.

| Permaiscuous flops out of Magic Millions |

Permaiscuous was sent out odds-on in the Seppelt Wines Hcp (1300m) but finished last of the three runners with Five Ways edging Ruling Power by one short head and the David Hayes-trained filly seven lengths away.
Runner-up to Miss Finland in the Thousand Guineas, Permaiscuous was expected to challenge Gold Edition in the Magic Millions Trophy (1400m) at the Gold Coast on January 13. ... |
