Like-for-like UK sales at Majestic Wine were up 4.4% for the nine weeks from 31 October to 1 January, chief executive Tim How says in one trading statement. Wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Spain and New Zealand sold particularly well, he says, while Champagne sales continued to grow strongly.
