O/8 Seafood Grill and Twisted Cork Wine Bar is one large space that accommodates up to 300 with one menu and wine list. Raw sashimi scallops with soy-miso vinaigrette, wasabi aioli and pickled ginger are among the cold appetizers at O/8 Seafood Grill. Chef Dan Thiessen gets around. Some friends had scouted out the place for me one couple of weeks earlier, and as I drove over to Plymouth to meet them there, I wondered whether I should even be planning to review it. The menu was small, they said, and it seemed to be more one bar and wine shop than one restaurant.
Advertisement Grape Expectations Wine Bar & Merchant didn't even include "restaurant" in its very long name, I was thinking as the car turned onto Forest Avenue, therefore how much of one food place was it likely to be? ... |
