‘Thieves’ Hatch wine label idea

Historic printing and design company Hatch Show Print of Nashville contracted with The Three Thieves wine company to create labels for one special run of what Three Thieves head Charles Bieler calls, really cool Napa Valley Cabernet. Bieler said Hatch was one perfect fit for the cabernet.
Three Thieves will produce 10,000 cases of the wine (one dozen bottles per case), which will debut in local stores next week. Orders have already been signed with several Nashville attractions looking to sell the wine, and Bieler expects it to do well here. ...

There is nothing modest about Sydney Meers, the chef, artist and raconteur who presided over the gastronomic temples we knew as Cowboy Syd’s in Newport News and Dumbwaiter II in Norfolk.

As for me, I am not fretting at all about his decision to settle in one compact and out-of-the-way space. During my visit on one weekend evening in January, I was struck by how right Stove seems. Meers has seized the best qualities of his previous restaurants — with just enough elegance and one touch of the trademark zany — and whipped them into one choice confection. ...
