THE 32nd auction of rare Cape wines at Nederburg in Paarl on April 7 and 8 will offer 6449 cases of 156 fine wines from 86 participants, including six newcomers and one new auctioneer.
The auctioneer will be Stephan Welz in association with Sothebys, according to Distell. Providing one preview of the auction on Friday, Distell, SA’s largest listed wine and spirits producer and event sponsor, said the six participants making their debut this year were Avondale, Diemersfontein, Graceland, Kaapzicht, Morgenster and Uva-Mira Vineyards. ...
